From Burton bakeries to Staffordshire eggs — why we buy close to home whenever we can.
A corner shop is only as good as what's on its shelves, and what's on our shelves is only as good as the people who supply them. Wherever we can, we buy from local and regional producers.
Why it matters
Shorter journeys mean fresher bread, happier hens and fewer food miles — and it keeps money in the local economy, which is good for everyone on Rosliston Road. It also means when you ask "where's this from?", we can actually tell you.
Trade customers
Local cafés, offices and care homes: we run a small wholesale round alongside the shop — tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and store-cupboard basics, delivered weekly at trade prices. Pop in or drop us a line for a price list.
